You can optionally use the Header file (.hdr) to provide custom information for the Profile Plot header.
If you don't use a Header file with your profile plot, PC-DMIS uses a default header:

To create a header file, select Create | Header File to open the Save As dialog box. Provide a file name and click Save.
To edit a header file, select Edit | Header File to open the Open dialog box. Select the existing Header file and then click Open. This opens the Header File Definition dialog box.

Edit each component in the Header Components area in their relative location that they appears in the Profile Plot header.
Click OK to save your changes to the Header file (.hdr).
If you select the Header file that would be created with the dialog box shown above, the Profile Plot header displays as shown below:

Using Macros
You can use some macros can expand at runtime. The macros are:
<DATE> - Date on which PC-DMIS Blade was run
<TIME> - Time at which PC-DMIS Blade was run
<MEASDATE> - Date on which the data was measured
<MEASTIME> - Time at which the data was measured
<PART> - Part name
To manually create a file, you can use a text editor such as Notepad.
