The Reports screen provides tools to see and filter your reports. To access the Reports screen, from the left sidebar, under Start, click on Reports ().
- This box filters reports to show those reports with names that contain the sequence of characters you type in the box.
- You can use the barcode button to the right the filter button to filter the list of reports according to a barcode. When you click this button, the Scan Part dialog box opens. You can scan or type your barcode to select the associated routine or playlist. Inspect then filters and shows any reports for that routine or playlist in the Reports screen.
- This date button and the list to the right filter the reports based on a date range. By default, the filter options show reports for the day of the most recent report. The date button sets the date for the filtering options. (You can also use the box on the left that displays the date to type a specific date.)
A Today button appears if you move your mouse pointer over any date options. You can use Today to set the date to the current date.
Once you set a date, you can use the list to the right to further define the range:
1 day - Shows reports for the selected date
7 days - Shows reports from the selected date and seven days prior
30 days - Shows reports from the selected date and 30 days prior
90 days - Shows reports from the selected date and 90 days prior
1 year - Shows reports from the selected date and a year prior
All Time - Shows all reports
Inspect remembers your selection and defaults to that selection the next time you use the software.
- This button refreshes the database or the folder and loads in any new reports.
You can change the folder that Inspect uses in the Settings screen.
List of Reports - The list of reports in the center shows the following items for each report:
A miniature colored graph of the report's results
The report's name
The date and time the software generated the report
In addition, if the measurement routine generated a report file, the list also shows one or more of the buttons below when you click on a report. These buttons open up the full report:
- This button opens the .rtf report inside Word or some other .rtf viewer.
- This button opens the .pdf report in a PDF viewer.
- This button opens up the .txt report in a text editor.
These buttons are common to PC-DMIS reports, but you may see other report buttons based on your add-ons and related software configurations.
Measurement Summary - The measurement summary on the right side of the screen shows the routine's name and execution date and time. For the selected routine, it also shows a large colored graph with numbers, as described on the Results View of the Measure screen.
