You can get a Start file by either requesting that one be sent through email if available, or through standard mail on a disc or flash drive.

Requesting a Return Start File via email
To get the offline return Start file via email, contact your Hexagon service representative to send you the Start file.
Enter the Entitlement ID to be returned offline as body text into the email, and send the email to the given address.
The offline return Start file will be sent back to your email address.
Save the Start file to a portable storage device such as a USB stick. Transfer it to the target computer.
If the license shall be returned via email, continue directly with the Offline License Transfer and Activation Process chapter.
