PC-DMIS allows you to import multiple CAD files at the same time. For example, suppose you have both a wireframe and a solid model of the same part. You can import both of them into your measurement routine.
Select the File | Import | CAD menu option to show an Import dialog box.
From the Import dialog box, navigate to the folder that contains the file to import. Then select the file.
Press Ctrl and then click on different files to select multiple files at the same time.
Click Open to import the files. If CAD data exists in the Graphic Display window, you can choose to merge or replace the data. For information on how to merge or replace the data, see "Importing CAD Data". The status bar shows a progress bar of each file's import.
