You can import geometry information from a VISI file (.wkf) file into the Graphic Display window. VISI modeling is a surface and solid modeling system that is based around the Parasolid geometric modeling kernel.
To import a VISI .wkf file:
Open the measurement routine in PC-DMIS into which you are going to import the .wkf file.
Select the File | Import | VISI menu option to show an Import dialog box.
Use the Import dialog box and navigate to the folder that contains the file to import. Then select the file.
Click the Import button to import the model into the Graphic Display window. A progress bar appears during a translation process, and then the model appears.
During the import process, you can cancel or stop the import.
Cancel - This button cancels the import altogether. If you already had a CAD model loaded before the import, PC-DMIS retains the previous CAD model.
Stop - This button stops the import, but keeps any imported CAD elements up to that point.
