These mouse gestures are common to all CAD System options:

Left button -

Click to select an item.

Click and hold, then drag to box-select multiple items.

Click and hold, then right-click and hold, then drag to zoom the view to that box.

Mouse Wheel button -

Rotate the wheel forward or backward to zoom in and out.  

Right button -

In Translate Mode (), right-click and hold, then drag to pan.

In 2D Rotate Mode (), right-click and hold, then drag to do a 2D rotation.

In 3D Rotate Mode (), right-click and hold, then drag to do a 3D rotation.

If you choose PC-DMIS, the software interprets mouse gestures like this:

Mouse Wheel button -

Click the wheel button and hold, then drag to do a 3D rotation.

Right button -

Right-click and hold, then drag to pan the view.

Right-click and hold, press Ctrl, and then drag to do a 3D rotation.

Right-click and hold, press Alt, and then drag to do a 2D rotation.

If you choose CATIA v5, the software interprets mouse gestures like this:

Mouse Wheel button -

Click the wheel button and hold, then drag to pan.

Click the wheel button and hold, then left-click and hold, then drag to do a 3D rotation.

Click the wheel button and hold, then left-click and release, then drag to zoom in or out.

If you choose Creo, the software interprets mouse gestures like this:

Mouse Wheel button -

Click the wheel button and hold, press Shift, and then drag to pan.

Click the wheel button and hold, press Ctrl, and then drag left or right to do a 2D rotation.

Click the wheel button and hold, press Ctrl, and then drag up or down to zoom in or out.

If you choose NX, the software interprets mouse gestures like this:

Middle button -

Click the wheel button and hold, press Shift, and then drag to pan.

If you choose Solidworks, the software interprets mouse gestures like this:

Mouse Wheel button -

Click the wheel button and hold, press Alt, and then drag to do a 2D rotation.

Click the wheel button and hold, press Shift, and then drag to zoom in or out.

Click the wheel button and hold, press Ctrl, and then drag to pan.
