Step 9 - Recalibrate Individual Ports

After you complete a full calibration of the LSPX1C / HR-X (HR-X1-P) Probe Changer, you can choose to recalibrate individual ports.

  1. Select the Single port calibration option on the Calibrate tab in the Probe Changer dialog box (Edit | Preferences | Probe Changer). (If you did not complete a full calibration, the option is not available.)

  1. When you select the Single port calibration option, the Probe changer port list becomes available. Select the port that you want to calibrate. For example:

  1. To begin the calibration, click Calibrate. A message prompts you to take a hit on the top left surface of the port that you selected:

Please take a hit on the top surface on the left side of port 2.

It should be taken near the front but far enough back to be behind any tapered corner.

  1. Take the hit near the front but far enough back to avoid any tapered corner.

  2. The following prompt appears and instructs you to remove any stylus holders in the port that you selected. For example:

If there is a stylus holder present in port 1 please remove it and then click OK.

When you click OK the DCC measurement will begin.

  1. To begin the DCC measurement of the port, click OK.

WARNING: When you do this, the machine moves. To avoid injury, stay clear of the machine. To avoid hardware damage, run the machine at a slower speed.
