Setting Advanced Registry Entries: Introduction

This chapter allows advanced users to further customize the Direct CAD Interface by setting certain registry entries in the PC-DMIS Settings Editor.

To edit DCI registry entries in the Settings Editor:

  1. From the Start menu, select All Programs | <Version>, where <Version> represents your version of PC-DMIS. Then double-click Settings Editor to run the Settings Editor.

  2. Find the needed section (NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or Option) of the file. Then click the plus sign (+) next to the section to expand the list.

  3. Find the needed registry entry and replace its value with the new value.

  4. Click Save Setting to save your changes.

  5. Click OK to close the Settings Editor.

PC-DMIS versions prior to 3.5 used the pcdlrn.ini file for these values.
