Common System Options

·         AxisX=0

·         AxisY=2

·         AxisZ=4 - These options allow you to reassign machine axis in PC-DMIS.  The default shown gives X=X, Y=Y, and Z=Z. The value of each machine axis is defined as follows: X=0, -X=1, Y=2, -Y=3, Z=4, -Z=5. For example, if the -X machine axis to is be read as +X in PC-DMIS then you would define AxisX=1. Likewise, if you want the machine -Z axis to be read as +Y then you would define AxisY=5.
WARNING: the axis directions you define MUST form a right-handed coordinate system.
