Live Updates

Requirements:

• Firmware version 12 or higher.

• Motorized Renishaw head

Live Update Setup

1. Verify firmware version – should be 12 or higher.

2. Change these variables in either the pcdlrn.ini file (v3.25) or the settings editor (v3.5 & up):

• LiveUpdateMethod = 1

• NeedsHomePosition = 1

3. Shut down the computer and controller.

4. Re-start the computer and controller.

5. Turn the servos on.

6. Start PC-DMIS and click OK when the software prompts you to home the machine.
