Command Identification - IDLength

This registry entry determines the length of the identification for the various commands. A length between 0-15 digits can be used. If you set this length, PC-DMIS appends zeros to the ID letters to make up the necessary length.

ID Length = 10, ID Letters = CIRCLE. PC-DMIS generates an ID = CIRCLE0001, etc. This is done only if the length is set.

Entry Name: A,C,COPOper,CS,D,FCF,F,L,Q,V)Length(0-17)

Entry Type: Whole number that specifies the number of digits. The default value is 0.

Preferably, this value should be set on the ID Setup tab in the Setup Options (F5) dialog box in PC-DMIS.
