This registry entry should be set to TRUE (1), if using a shank tip to take edge hits. With this option set to TRUE (1), PC-DMIS allows you to qualify the shank of the probe. You can also manipulate the other shank registry entries to determine how the shank is measured:
Be aware that if you are using a shank probe, you only need to do a shank calibration if you'll be taking edge hits.
Entry Name: ProbeShankCheck
Entry Type: Whole Number to specify TRUE (1) or FALSE (0). The default value is 0.
