This registry entry lets you specify whether or not the attributes created during the import process will be stored within the SolidWorks part. These attributes are used by PC-DMIS as a mapping between the CAD element in the SolidWorks part and the PC-DMIS measurement routine. If you save the SolidWorks part's attributes, PC-DMIS does not reimport the CAD data each time you load the measurement routine. Storing these attributes in the part results in longer loading times for your measurement routines using a SolidWorks DCI.
If you set this registry entry to TRUE (1), then the attributes will be stored in the SolidWorks part.
Entry Name: SaveSolidWorksAttributesInPart
Entry Type: Whole Number to specify TRUE (1) or FALSE (0). The default value is 0.
