The value for this registry entry specifies which simplified Temperature Compensation Setup dialog box appears in PC-DMIS when you select Edit | Preferences | Temperature Compensation.
Entry Name: UseTemperatureCompensationV2
Entry Type: Whole number that specifies TRUE (1) or FALSE (0). The default value is 0 (False).
True = The simplified Temperature Compensation Setup dialog box appears. The type of dialog box that appears depends on whether your machine is connected to a Hexagon controller or a non-Hexagon controller.
When this registry entry is set to True, you can change the temperature sensors from the I++ registry settings when running from an I++ DMS Client interface. For details, see the "Miscellaneous" topic in the MIIM help.
False = The Temperature Compensation Setup dialog box appears.
If you use a controller with the Sheffield interface, the UseTemperatureCompensationV2 registry entry in the Option section must be False. If it is set to True, that registry entry may affect your measurement routine's move points in unexpected ways.
