The Point Density box allows you to set the number of readings to take per millimeter of measurement during a scan.
If you give a scan increment smaller than the Point Density defined in the registry entry in the Settings Editor, PC-DMIS displays a warning explaining that the minimum increment is smaller than Point Density for scans. You are then asked to verify increment settings in the dialog box.
You can then change the scan's Point Density value to a suitable number.
