PC-DMIS allows you to display a colored contour plot that will rest on the surface of the CAD model in the Graphic Display window for linear or curve features.
Follow the instructions listed in "Displaying Surface Profile Contour Plots" for a Surface Profile, and simply substitute the input feature with the appropriate line or curve feature (or scan).
