This registry entry stores a global ring tool adjustment value that can be used to provide additional offset information for vision probes processing. This is useful in cases where the automatic focus and alignment processing may not work well, such as for high magnification optics with a shallow depth of focus. The value is the difference in the Z position from when the ring face is in focus to when the top edge of the ring hole is in focus. For a traditional cylindrically shaped ring gage, this would be a negative value (ex:-0.5 mm). This value will automatically update to the last measured offset based on the setting of the "ProbeQualVisionRingFaceToHoleFocusOffsetAutoUpdate" value.
