The value for this registry entry determines if the Reset tips to Theo at start of calibration check box is marked inside the Measure dialog box when calibrating probe tips the first time for a newly created probe. Once a given probe has been calibrated at least once, PC-DMIS saves the last used selections for that probe, and the registry entry value no longer has any effect on that probe.
