The installation setup program of PC-DMIS 3.2 or higher installs several DLLs in the Path environment variable. This enables you to link directly to ACIS CAD files.
To install older versions of PC-DMIS, follow the procedure here. To install PC-DMIS 2012 MR1 or later, see the release notes in the Readme.pdf file included with your installation media.
Plug your PC-DMIS portlock (also known as a dongle) into the printer port of your PC.
Insert the PC-DMIS CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
Use Windows Explorer to open the directory that contains the CD-ROM and then navigate to the PC-DMIS setup executable.
Double-click setup.exe to activate the PC-DMIS installation sequence.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
At the end of the installation, the PC-DMIS program group appears. It contains a Start Up shortcut.
Double click this icon and wait a few moments. PC-DMIS checks your LMS license or portlock settings.
You should now see some new icons in the PC-DMIS program group These include: Offline, Uninstall, and Help.
This completes the PC-DMIS installation.
