The CommMsgExe registry entry defines the full path of the executable to launch the communication tool used to communicate with Creo.
Replace the default value of None with the full path of the communication tool executable.
In version 3.25 and earlier, you had to create an environment variable called Pro_Comm_Msg_Exe that pointed to the actual executable of the communication tool.
In version 3.5 and later, if PC-DMIS cannot find this environment variable, it looks for the pathway stored in this entry of the Settings Editor. If the proper pathway exists, PC-DMIS creates the appropriate environment variable, allowing Creo to run in batch mode.
This registry entry is located in the Creo section of the Settings Editor.
For information on how to change Settings Editor values, see "Setting Advanced Registry Entries: Introduction".
