The DLL for the Leitz interface is named leitz.dll.
The PC-DMIS Settings Editor section headings for registry entries are:
For most registry entries - LEITZ and USER_LEITZ
For a small number of registry entries - Option and CMMAccuracy
You can use the Leitz interface on most of the controllers that use the Leitz protocol. These controllers include:
Brown & Sharpe/DEA controllers (such as the Sharpe 32Z in Leitz mode and the Common Firmware controllers)
Actual Leitz machines from Wetzlar
This interface is not intended for use on the Firmware Distributed Controller (FDC). FDC has a separate interface. For details, see "FDC Interface".
Some of the supported controllers communicate through a serial port, some use TCP/IP, and some support both methods according to how the controller is configured. This interface supports either method. You must configure the method to match how the controller is configured.
