You can test the Matrox frame grabber camera connections with the Matrox Intellicam utility.
To test the camera connections with the utility, do the following:
Run Intellicam.
Select Digitizer Control on the toolbar.
Select the digitizer format in the Digitizer Configuration Format dialog box.
Select the Channel tab in the Digitizer Control dialog box.
Select an active channel.
Select Continuous Safe Grab on the toolbar. You should now have an active live image view window.
Select Halt Grab on the toolbar.
Select a different active channel in the Digitizer Control dialog box.
Select Continuous Safe Grab on the toolbar. You should now have an active live image view window.
