The firmware detected excessive lag for the W-axis. Possible causes are:
The servo motor is not working properly or is not receiving adequate power from the servo control unit (SCU) chassis.
The drive (drive belt or rolex nut and rod) is not working properly.
Something is preventing the axis from moving.
What you should do:
To clear the error, click Clear error in the XYZ Display window.
To clear it using an RCU-II, press and hold down the Servo Power Off button and then press the Joy button twice.
Check to see that nothing is preventing axis movement.
Check the servo motor's tachometer and drive mechanism.
Check to see that the servo control unit (SCU) chassis is powering the motor properly.
If the error reoccurs, contact your Giddings & Lewis service representative.
