MP-186 Invalid W-axis MEA data

The Microprocessor Enhanced Accuracy (MEA) data has not been collected for this machine's W-axis, or the W-axis MEA data in the EEPROM is corrupted.

What you should do:

  1. To clear the error, click Clear error in the XYZ Display window.

    2. To clear it using an RCU-II, press and hold down the Servo Power Off button and then press the Joy button twice.

  2. Collect W-axis MEA data using AutoCal, or reload the configuration data with the correct configuration information from the CONFG disk.

  3. If the error reoccurs, contact your Giddings & Lewis service representative.
