Step 1: Install PC-DMIS NCI and Define a Machine

1. If you use a portlock, insert it into your computer. Your LMS license or portlock must be programmed to enable the PC-DMIS NCI functionality.

2. Install PC-DMIS.

3. Install the NC Gateway server application.

4. Ensure PC-DMIS NCI is not running. It cannot be active when you use the NC Gateway server application.

5. Start NC Gateway.

6. Use NC Gateway to define a machine. Give the machine an ID of "1". For information on how to do this, see the NC Gateway documentation.

7. Close NC Gateway.
