This registry entry determines if the software should fix surface vectors on all surfaces when importing an IGES, CATIA v4, CATIA v5, CATIA v6, SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Parasolid file. When you import any of these file types and this registry entry is set to True, the fix surface algorithm runs on the model so that the surface normal vectors point away from the model. This registry entry also defines the state of the Fix surface vector check box on the IGES File dialog box. This dialog box appears during the model import process.

Entry Type: Boolean value of True or False.
True means the fix surface algorithm runs when you import the CAD file. True also means PC-DMIS marks the Fix surface vector check box on the IGES File dialog box when the dialog box opens.
False means the check box is cleared. The default value is False, but this entry can change based on the check box state in the dialog box.
