Rename

The Rename command allows you to rename all of the files that are associated with a measurement routine.

To rename a measurement routine:

1. Select the File | Operations | Rename menu item to open the Rename part files from dialog box.

2. Select the measurement routine to rename.

3. Click the Rename button to open the Rename part files to dialog box.

4. Type in the new name for the file in the File name box.

5. Click the Save button. The name change is applied immediately.

These files are renamed:

• .prg

• .cad

• Any file with the same base name and an extension in the range .001, .002, …, .999

• <name of measurement routine>.MiniRoutines.xml, if it exists

• <name of measurement routine>.QdasData.xml, if it exists
