Best Fit Alignment dialog box
When you click the Best Fit button in the Alignment Utilities dialog box (Insert | Alignment | New), PC-DMIS displays the Best Fit Alignment dialog box. This dialog box provides a way for you to "best fit" the measured data to the nominal points. With the exception of the Vector method, which requires at least two points, you need at least one point feature to create a best fit alignment.
