When you create scans, you often need to select one or more surfaces that you want PC-DMIS to scan. PC-DMIS shows selected surfaces in the defined highlight color:

To deselect (or select) a desired surface:
Ensure that your part displays surface data.
Enable Surface mode. To do this, from the
Graphic Modes toolbar (View
| Toolbars | Graphic Modes), select the Surface
Mode icon (
).
Show the part in solid view. To do this,
from the Graphic View toolbar (View | Toolbars | Graphic View), select the
Show Graphic Window as Solid icon (
).
Access the appropriate scan dialog box (Insert | Scan), and start to define the scan.
As needed, click on a surface or surfaces to select them. If you make a mistake and need to deselect a surface, press Ctrl and click on the surface.
