When PC-DMIS is in Offline mode, you can use all of the probe definition and calibration capabilities as you can in Online mode. However, you can only enter values. You cannot make measurements. (For example, you cannot actually measure a calibration artifact to find the diameter of a probe.)

We recommend that you use the same probe configuration in the offline measurement routine as the online measurement routine.
