Using GD&T Selection Modes to Create FCFs

PC-DMIS provides these ways to get Feature Control Frames (FCFs) into PC-DMIS from GD&T tolerances in other sources:

GD&T Selection Mode (from CAD) (GD&T Selection Mode (from CAD)) - This enables you to import GD&T callouts embedded in your CAD model. In this mode you can box select or click on callouts to import them. For more information on this option, see "Using GD&T Selection Mode (from CAD)".

You can access GD&T Selection Mode (from CAD) From the Graphic Modes toolbar or the QuickMeasure toolbar.

GD&T Selection Mode (from File) (GD&T Selection Mode (from File)) - PC-DMIS lets you import a drawing and decide what GD&T tolerances to import. This process uses Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
