Probe Head

InvertHeadABAngles = False - When this parameter is set to True, the system inverts and swaps the A/B angles to match the Zeiss RDS / DSE / CSC rules. This is a Zeiss-specific parameter.

UseWristStrategy = False - When this parameter is set to True, the system calls a change probe command on the A0B0 probe tip. The system then orients the probe with a GoTo command instead of checking if there is a calibrated tip at the given angle position.

WristJointC = 0 - This parameter accepts these integer values:

0 (NONE) - This is the default value when there is no wrist joint.

1 (Use) - The system uses the probe's C angle in all relevant commands and DRO.

2 (Detect) - This setting instructs the I++ server to use 3 angles (3 joints) for all events and data-readouts, and expects 0 (zero) for a C angle when only 2 joints are available.

Continuous wrists have a typical configuration of 2 angles (A and B) for 5 axis systems. Some special wrists add an additional C angle to extend a 5 axis system to a 6 axis system.

The Zeiss DME server reports an error when returning the C angle when a 2 joint wrist probe is used. Setting this entry to 2 allows the switching between different types of wrists.
