This registry entry allows you to determine whether or not a beeping sound will be available when measuring a part. When this method is used, the only application that is affected is PC-DMIS. This function will not be disabled for any other programs run on the system.
The system Control Panel provides another way to turn off the sound. This method however, affects programs that are run on the system, not just PC-DMIS. If set to TRUE, beeping is enabled.
Entry Name: MessageBeep
Entry Type: Whole number that specifies TRUE (1) or FALSE (0). The default value is 0.
