This registry entry allows you to define the default value for the Clearance Plane option that is used when an Auto Feature is created. When you set this registry entry to 1 (TRUE), PC-DMIS inserts a MOVE/CLEARPLANE command before it creates the feature. The probe moves beyond the defined clearance plane before it measures the feature.
