This registry entry applies when an analog contact probe is calibrated using the Vibration Free Transmission (VFT) calibration procedure and algorithms. This is not available on all machine types. For machines that support VFT, this calibration procedure is to be used when the Use Trax Calibration check box in the PC-DMIS Probe Utilities dialog box (Insert | Hardware Definition | Probe) is NOT selected. The VFT procedure includes both individual touch measurement and scan measurement. This entry applies to the scans. The scan paths used may be executed twice using two separate sets of scanning parameters.
