Important Notes

The following are important points about the Roughness scan measurement:

• When you create a Roughness probe file, you need to ensure that T1 is created with a Support Pin. If you use a Roughness sensor with an Oblique cone, you must define T2 as the hot spot at the center of the cone.

• Roughness scans are generated for the type of roughness sensor. You should not change the sensor type after creation of Roughness scan commands. It is not feasible to scan all surfaces with all types of sensors. If you need to change the type of roughness sensor, you must re-create all roughness scans.

• If you need to re-calibrate roughness sensor for kinematics, you must re-import kinematics.
