To generate a diagnostics file for the Notification Center interface, do the following:
Start an Explorer window, and open the EventModules folder where PC-DMIS is installed.
From the EventModules folder, run the DeviceScan.exe program to generate the log file. This program does not have any user interface, but when you run this .exe file, it generates the log file.
To get the log file, open an Explorer window, and navigate to: C:\ProgramData\Hexagon\Notification Center
Open HNCDeviceScan.txt in a text editor to view the log file.
The HNCDeviceScan.txt log file contains these sections:
Device Info : Ports - This section lists all of the LPT/COM devices on the system.
Device Info : Bluetooth - This section lists all of the Bluetooth devices on the system.
Trying Found Devices - This section contains the following information:
The results of DeviceScan.exe's attempts to connect to the devices in the "Device Info : Ports" section. These devices could be either an Arduino or a BT6Out.
The light controller firmware version
Any communications with the controller
Failure messages if the DeviceScan.exe program could not connect with the devices
