(This topic applies to the Measurement Strategy Editor also known as the MSE for short.)
You can also enable or disable smart parameters from the measurement strategy widget. For more information about the widget, see "Using the Measurement Strategy Widget".
When the measurement strategy widget appears, click the Properties button () to see if that feature type uses smart parameters.
If the button is gray, smart parameters are currently disabled. You can click this button to enable them.
If the button is green, smart parameters are currently enabled. You can click this button to disable them.
The value of the setting to the left of the grid button shows the value PC-DMIS chooses for the feature. You can click the grid button to switch between the smart parameter value and the default value for the feature you're creating.
If you want to define a custom value, turn off smart parameters and type the value.
