Pulled Hit - With Arm type CMM’s, the vector of the hit is the direction of the last joint of the arm. The Pulled Hit overrides the vector of the last joint. When you take hits, occasionally this last joint does not accurately depict the vector you want to send to PC-DMIS.
To take a Pulled Hit:
Press the hit button as usual but do not release the button.
Move the tip in the direction of the vector you want to send to PC-DMIS. You must move the probe tip at least VectDistance away from the point where you took the hit.
Release the button.
Mouse Mode - If the PC-DMIS Settings Editor registry entry MouseModeChangableThroughButtons is set to True, then you can toggle the mouse mode through special button combinations.
To enable mouse mode, press the Front and Back buttons together.
To disable mouse mode:
Maximize the PC-DMIS screen (note that the window MUST be maximized).
Move the mouse cursor to the very top of the title bar (which is also the very top of the screen because PC-DMIS is maximized).
Click the button that simulates the left mouse button. Mouse mode is now disabled.
