You can re-host (transfer a license from one computer to another) and manage licenses for different software products on the same computer by starting the CLM Administrator for node-locked licenses (refer to the "Managing Licenses" chapter).
To return licenses for re-hosting, do the following:
Start the CLM Administrator (refer to the "Managing Licenses" chapter).
Make sure the computer is connected to the Internet.
Select View installed Licenses. The list of currently-activated entitlements appears.
Select the Entitlement ID to return.
Select Return Licenses. The list of currently-selected licenses for return appears.
Select Continue to confirm the return of the selected licenses.
A connection to the Hexagon Network License Server is established, and the selected licenses are returned.
Installing and Activating Licenses on a Different Computer
To complete the re-hosting process, do the following:
On the computer that the license is to be moved to, follow the complete installation and activation process that is described in the "Installing and Activating Node-Locked Licenses" chapter.
