The Update option creates a STATS/UPDATE command that tells PC-DMIS to update the statistical database every time the command is executed. The statistical software application must be installed and ON.
The Always Update Database check box from the Dimension tab of the Setup Options dialog box allows you to bypass the "Update Database Now?" message that PC-DMIS shows at the end of a measurement routine execution that contains a STATS/ON command.
