The status bar displays various status messages. If you open a large Q-DAS data file, the status bar indicates the data that is currently being processed and its progress.

To help you correct any errors, the status bar also displays the number of errors that currently exist in the Parts data or Characteristics data area.
A key is marked with the Mandatory property (in the Setup K-Field Configuration dialog box), but no value exists for that field in the Parts data or Characteristics data area.
The maximum length of a value for a key is 20 characters in the Setup K-Field Configuration dialog box. However, you can enter a value with 21 characters for the key in the Parts data or Characteristics data area.
In these cases, an exclamation point 
appears on the right
side of the cell.
