This registry entry determines the communication port (if any) that PC-DMIS must use for direct communication to the probe controller.
If the value is zero, PC-DMIS does not attempt any direct communication. If no HP-THD sensor is available on the machine or the machine controller handles the necessary communication, this setting is correct.
If the value is non-zero, PC-DMIS uses the corresponding communication port for the direct communication. You can use 1 for COM1, 2 for COM2, and so forth.
