This registry entry is a scale factor (multiplier) value. The software applies this value to your measurement routine's defined tolerance zone. This allows you to have more control over the tolerance zone, either by extending or shrinking it. If you use the default value of 1.0, the software displays a tolerance range of up to 100% out of tolerance. If you set this registry entry to a value of 2.0, the software would display a tolerance range of up to 200% out of tolerance.
You must click Recall from the Edit Dimension Colors dialog box to retrieve this registry entry value. If you click Default from the Edit Dimension Colors dialog box, the software stores the Tolerance Zone Multiplier value of the Edit Dimension Colors to this registry entry.
For details on the Edit Dimension Colors dialog box, see "Using the Dimension Colors Window (Dimension Colors Bar)" in the PC-DMIS Core documentation.
