Determines how many Scan points are displayed for the graphics object before using the FilterPercentageAfterMaxPtsScan percentage value to determine how many of the remaining points should be displayed. Limiting the number of displayed Scan points improves the ability of PC-DMIS to visually represent the Scan object.
The default registry entry value indicates that 500 points plus 5% after the 500 will be displayed. If there are 600 points, then 500 + (600-500)x0.05 = 505 points will be displayed during the PAN or ROTATE. When this value is set to 0, then only the FilterPercentageAfterMaxPtsScan value will be used such that a percentage of 5% with 600 points, will display 30 points during the PAN or ROTATE.
The displayed points are selected somewhat randomly, but normally the first point, mid point, and last point of the display object will be displayed.
