MaxPrintResolution

This registry entry defines the dots per inch (dpi) that your printer device uses when printing CAD images. You can change this value to define the proper balance between file size and image quality to suit your needs. The default value is 1,000,000 dpi, thereby effectively using any printer's maximum print-resolution capacity. If you define a value less than your printer's maximum print resolution, the file size is considerably decreased.

For example, if your printer can print up to 500 dpi, but you change the entry to a smaller value, like 70 dpi, the file size is considerably decreased.

This registry entry only comes into play if the value is smaller than the print resolution reported by the print driver.

Entry Name: MaxPrintResolution

Entry Type: Whole number that specifies the print resolution. The default value is NONE (1000000), which effectively causes this value to be ignored.

Below are some examples of how different values might affect the size of the created PDF.
