Use the DccPitch value to effect this change rather than this value.
This registry entry allows you to define the default value for the Pitch option used when an Auto Feature is created. The Pitch value allows more accurate measurements of threaded holes and studs. Pitch, inside PC-DMIS, is the distance between threads along the axis of the feature. If the Pitch value is something other than zero, PC-DMIS staggers the feature's hits along the THEO axis, spacing them around the feature using the Start Angle and End Angle.
Entry Name: PTP_Pitch
Entry Type: Real Number to specify the distance between threads in mm. The default value is 0.
See the "Working with Contact Path Properties" topic in the PC-DMIS CMM documentation for additional information.
