Use the DccPermHits value to affect the permanent hits value respectively.
The Initial and Perm lists allow you to select the number of sample hits taken for the auto feature. These hits are used to measure the plane around the nominal point location.
PC-DMIS takes the Initial sample hits only on the initial measurement of the feature during execution of the measurement routine.
PC-DMIS uses the Perm sample hits for all subsequent measurements during execution of the measurement routine.
For details on the Auto features that use sample hits and how PC-DMIS uses the sample hits in each feature's measurement, see the "Working with Contact Sample Hits Properties" topic in the PC-DMIS CMM documentation.
