Understanding the ACR1 Rack

When using the ACR1, the system uses the Quickened joint between the probe head and the probe body. All of the ports in the ACR1 are identical, so if you had an SP600 in port 1, it would connect directly to the probe head. If you wanted to put a TP2 into port 2, you would need to mount an adapter to the TP2 (as with TP20 and TP200 probing systems).

With this configuration in mind, you only need to define one probe name for each port. Technically, the ACR1 is a probe changer, and each probe would have a stylus already attached to it when it sits in the rack.

Suppose you want to assign these probes to the ACR1 rack: "SP600", "TP2", "TP20", and "TP200". The port definitions in the ACR1 rack would be:

PORT 1

PORT 2

PORT 3

PORT

SP600

TP2

TP20

TP200
