This entry allows you to define the default value for the Clearance Plane option that is used when an Auto feature is created. When you set this entry to 1 (TRUE), PC-DMIS inserts a MOVE/CLEARPLANE command before it creates the feature. The probe moves beyond the defined clearance plane before it measures the feature.
